Can I order Arbor Mist directly from the winery?

Unfortunately, we do not ship directly to consumers. Arbor Mist wines are widely distributed at retailers across the U.S. To find a retailer near you, visit the Find Us page.

Where can I find an Arbor Mist retailer in my area?

Arbor Mist is available nationally wherever wine is sold. To find a location near you, visit our Wine Locator. If your local retailer does not carry a particular Arbor Mist flavor you are looking for, ask the store manager. He/she may be able to special order the product for you and may even make it an in-store item in the future.

Can I obtain small-size bottles for wedding/party favors?

Yes! Arbor Mist makes a wonderful party favor. We have two small sizes to choose from:

Is there any gluten in the wine?

To the best of our knowledge, Arbor Mist products do not contain gluten.

Are there sulfites in Arbor Mist?

Yes, Arbor Mist does contain sulfites. Sulfites occur naturally and are a natural byproduct of the fermentation process, so all wines contain a minimal amount of sulfites. Additional sulfites are added in small amounts during bottling to preserve our products and maintain freshness.

Which Arbor Mist wines are less sweet?

All Arbor Mist wines are fruity and refreshing, but some are sweeter than others. This flavor chart should help you find a Mist to suit your style.

Where is the Arbor Mist winery located?

Arbor Mist Winery is located in the Finger Lakes Region of Upstate New York, renowned as the premier wine-growing region in the state.

Does Arbor Mist offer a winery tour?

The Arbor Mist Winery in Canandaigua New York is not open to the public. However, we have a sister winery – Widmer Wine Cellars – that does offer tours. Widmer Wine Cellars is located at the south end of Canandaigua Lake, about 50 minutes off the New York State Thruway and is open daily for winery tours and tastings of all the Arbor Mist products. For tour information, call 800-836-5253 or visit their web site at: www.widmerwine.com

What is the shelf life of Arbor Mist?

All wines age differently. Our wines are made to enjoy immediately upon purchase and do not require aging or cellaring.

Storage conditions also play a factor in the shelf life of your wine. Prior to opening, stored wine should be kept in a cool, dry, dark area away from bright light and constant vibration. Optimum storage temperature is 53 - 59 degrees Fahrenheit. Avoid extreme temperature changes.

After wine has been opened, we do recommend that it be refrigerated. If not, the flavor will deteriorate more quickly. However, you may wish to allow your red wines to warm up a bit prior to drinking them.

If you don’t remember how long you’ve had your bottle of wine, first look at the color and see if it is the same color as when you purchased it. If the color looks fine, then smell it. If it smells fine, then take a sip. If the wine taste fine, then it will be fine to drink.

Please note: if you plan on serving the wine to guests and you don’t remember how long you've had the wine, we recommend that you have a back up bottle available in the event it is not of the quality you expect.

Can I get gift baskets?

You can build your own gift basket at home with tips and ideas from our Games & Gifts section online, but we don’t sell them through our site. Arbor Mist winery strives to produce the highest-quality products. However, since wine is a naturally fermented product made from grapes, there are many factors than can affect it once it leaves our cellars. If you purchase a bottle of Arbor Mist that is not of its usual fine quality, please retain the bottle and any remaining product and contact us directly via the Arbor Mist Contact Us page online.
